Any kind of morphometric measurements (for morphology, vitality, DNA
Fragmentation analysis) needs the staining of the cells. Different kits can be used for each purpose, and everybody should pick the one that fits the specific requirements. Our systems, can work with different kits but for human we recommend the use of rapid Papanicolau protocol, following WHO recommendations.

We also offer other solutions like Diff-quick or Eosine Nigrosine
Other kits are also available.

RAPID PAPANICOLAU

Following the WHO recommendation we have developed a Rapid Papanicolau kit.

The expected results are obtained after 10 steps and about 3 minutes.

The kit includes not only the stain solutions, but also fixative and mounting medium. It can be used for 250 smears.

The protocol to follow

Prepare a 5µL of sample.
Attach with fixative spray and air dry.
Hydrate the smear with runing water for one minute.
Insert it for 45 seconds in dye solution 1.
Wash in buffer for 30 seconds.
Insert it for 30 seconds in deshydratation solution.
In sert it for 45 seconds in the dye solution 2.
Wash in buffer for 30 seconds.
Insert it for 30 seconds in the dehydratation solution and air dry.
Add xylene and prepare for analysis.
